When your MyBlend shows a solid red light, it means that a safety lock has been activated to protect the battery from overheating. This can happen if the motor is overloaded by heavy ingredients or if the battery is running low.

When this happens, we recommend doing the following:

1. Let your MyBlend rest for a while, or connect it to a power source and charge it for about 1 minute to reset the battery tension.
2. If you are blending something thick, make sure to add enough liquid. We recommend about a 50/50 mix between liquid and solid ingredients.
3. Start the blender upside down to let the blades rotate freely for the first few seconds. Then turn the blender upright so the ingredients hit the blades at full speed.
