The coffee flows too quickly or there is not enough pressureUpdated 16 days ago

If the coffee flows through too quickly, or if your MyBlend Portable Espresso Machine does not seem to build enough pressure, it is usually because the coffee does not create enough resistance during brewing.

This can happen if the coffee is too coarsely ground, if too little coffee is used, or if the capsule or coffee adapter is not positioned correctly.

Please try the following steps:

  • Make sure the coffee adapter or capsule adapter is properly attached.
  • Check that all parts are correctly screwed together and sealed.
  • If you use ground coffee, choose a finer grind suitable for espresso.
  • Fill the coffee basket evenly, but do not press the coffee too firmly.
  • Avoid coffee that is too coarsely ground, as the water may then flow through too quickly.
  • Check that the seal is positioned correctly and that no coffee residue is blocking the parts.

If you use a capsule, it may help to remove it, place it back in the adapter and make sure the adapter is properly closed before starting the machine again.

If you use ground coffee, the grind size is especially important. Coffee that is too coarse often gives a weaker result and a faster flow, while a finer espresso grind helps the machine build better pressure.

We recommend cleaning the coffee adapter and the area around the seal after use. Small coffee residues can prevent the parts from sealing properly, which may affect the pressure.

If the machine still does not build pressure after trying the steps above, you are warmly welcome to contact us. Please include a short video showing how you assemble the machine and what happens when you start it, and we will help you further.
