Red Firm LightUpdated a day ago
When MyBlend lights up with a steady red light, it is a safety interlock that has been activated to protect the battery from overheating. This safety lock will activate when the motor is overloaded with heavy ingredients or when the battery is discharging.
What we recommend to do when this happens is:
1. let the MyBlend rest for a while or connect it to a power source and charge for about 1 minute (to restore the voltage in the battery).
2. If you are mixing something thick, make sure to add enough liquid. We recommend about 50/50 between liquid and solid ingredients.
3. Start the blender upside down to let the blades rotate freely for the first few seconds. Then turn the blender right to let the ingredients hit the blades at full speed.
