MyBlend Compact does not start - what should I do?Updated 14 days ago
Compact will not start if any part of the assembly is not positioned correctly, or if the machine has turned itself off due to overheating. Go through the steps below in order.
Step 1 - Check that the cable is plugged into a working outlet
Compact is powered by cable and does not have a battery. Make sure the cable is properly plugged into the wall outlet and that the outlet is working.
Step 2 - Reassemble the jar in the correct order
Compact has a safety lock that prevents the motor from starting if all parts are not correctly attached. Reassemble it like this:
- Remove the jar from the motor base.
- Make sure the blade unit is properly attached to the bottom of the jar. Twist it clockwise until it locks onto the jar.
- Place the jar with the blade unit onto the motor base and twist clockwise until it stops and is firmly attached.
There are two separate twisting steps, one for the blade unit onto the jar and one for the jar onto the motor base. If you skip the first step, the machine cannot start.
Step 3 - Check that the lid is on
The lid must be on the jar before you start. The machine will not start without it.
Step 4 - Have you been blending for a long time? Let it rest
Compact can be used for a maximum of 3 minutes at a time. If you have used it for a long time, it may shut off automatically to protect the motor. Unplug the cable and let it rest for at least 15 minutes before trying again.
Step 5 - Check that the jar is not overfilled
Never fill above the MAX line. Overfilling can prevent the blade from rotating and may cause the machine to stop immediately.
If the machine still does not start after you have gone through all the steps above, contact us at [email protected] and describe what happens. Compact has a 2-year warranty, and we will help you solve it.
